Spring Carnivale

Saturday saw out the next installment of my seasons shoots. Spring was upon me. Very impressed, my 'model patient', if you don't mind the pun, was very willing to be glued and prodded all day. Extremely patient with me and the flowers alike.

Beautiful eyes, can't wait for the finished product and to materialize the remaining two seasons! :)

River Romance

Saturday I met a worldly, young couple down on the river banks. A once in a lifetime pairing of two countries who are settling in a third.

They have not been in our beautiful country long but one thing I can see for sure is they will make the most of their life together. Starting out young and in love, half way around the world away from their family and friends I have no doubt they will prosper.

*Winter Wonderland*

Last Saturday was my chance to get out and shoot something that I wanted to create for myself. The first of my seasons themed shoots, Winter, took me by surprise.
I was able to put my make up skills to the limit and I think I impressed myself. I felt so rewarded once I had actually achieved the images I had thrown around in my head for the past couple of weeks or even months.
Schanae was a trooper and sat through two and a half hours of make up and hair for a 20min photo shoot and still managed to blow me away. She needed no direction at all and really played the part well. What a fantastic model.
Definitely cannot wait to bring on the remaining seasons and attempt all the other ideas I have. Finally I think I have found where I want to head with this endeavour of mine I call my life.

Roses Eternal

Last weekend I did a shoot for an old work colleague I hadn't seen in a few years. Congratulations to her and her partner on finding their soul mates so young. The cutest couple ever, entwined with their matching tattoos. Their are lots of beautiful photos from this shoot, including her family snaps. Effort to the boys for not stressing too much on the impending start of the footy!

Pier Perfect

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting this cute couple at the woody point pier. The rain held off and the sun peeked out every few minutes.

I sense they withhold some cheeky personalities under their quiet personas!

Theatre Passion

This lovely lady invited me into her home over the weekend to shoot some head shots for her. Finally she has found the courage and time to pursue her lifelong passion in the theatre business once again. Thank you for sharing your art pieces and possum stories with me! Congratulations on following your dreams.   

Corporate Shots

Yesterday was the first time in a long time I have taken some business head shots. All the skills I learnt during my time as a school photographer were finally put into practise.

A very quick and easy shoot, gotta love only having to take half of my equipment with me!
